I call this style "fluid outlines." Distinct color fields, swirly shapes, and gradations of tones are the characteristics of this style. I paint this style on silk charmeuse and silk crepe de chine. Silk charmeuses, is the softest, the most luxurious silk satin you can imagine, with lustre on one side and matte on the other. Silk crepe de chine has a marbley matte texture and lovely drape.
This 15 x 60 silk charmeuse scarf is in my personal collection. If I only want to pack one scarf for travel, this is the one I take.
This piece "Goes with Lavender" and many other colors in my business travel wardrobe: black, aquas/teals, ivory, and mauve and looks fabulous with copper and rose gold jewelry. My model, Jordan, added her own sultry interpretation to the piece...it turned her into a mysterious gypsy...
